PARISH RELIGIOUS EDUCATION PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN (PREP)

The goal of PREP is to assist parents in the religious education of children attending public schools in Kindergarten to Grade 7  and to prepare them to receive the Sacraments of Reconciliation and the Eucharist in Grade 2 and Confirmation in Grade 7.

PREP used to  be known as CCD (Catechism Confraternity of Christian Doctrine  or simply as "Catechism," and provides religious education to Catholic children attending non-Catholic  schools.

We are now accepting registrations for the 2025-2026 school starting in September 2025.

Registration Details:

• Fees: The registration fee remains unchanged from last year at $100 per student.

• Payment Method: Please send the registration fee via Interac e-transfer to parish.hs@rcav.org.
  In the message of your e-transfer, kindly include your child's full name.

• Classes: PREP classes will continue to be held on Wednesdays at 6:30 PM. (PREP 1,3,4,5, & 6)
  Thursday classes at 6:30 PM specifically for Sacramental classes (PREP 2 and PREP 7).
